The Renaissance Group acquires Alpine-Bau GmbH in Switzerland. Alpine now operates under the name Renaissance Construction GmbH.

The Renaissance Group acquires Heitkamp Ingenieur- und Kraftwerksbau GmbH in Germany.

New ownership structure
Ballast Nedam acquires 49% of the shares in Heitkamp Construction Swiss GmbH. 51% remain in the possession of Renaissance Construction.

Expansion in Turkey
Opening of a branch office in Ankara to manage the launch and coordination of our concession projects in the region.

Expansion and new business area
Heitkamp Construction Swiss GmbH acquires the first E-Power Pipe® machine and establishes the wholly owned subsidiary Heitkamp Energy Infra GmbH, based in Obernburg am Main, Germany, to start trenchless laying of high-voltage cables.
