-
500 Meter long road tunnel
-
63.3 Million CHF
The core of the road is the 500m long Burg tunnel, which was excavated 350m in loose rock and connects to a 150m long tunnel in cut-and-cover construction. A 65m long escape tunnel will be excavated as an escape route.
In addition to the operations center, an escape structure with retention basin, two concrete traffic circles, a road wastewater treatment plant, a pedestrian underpass and a retaining wall approximately 82m long and 22m high are also being constructed.
Special features: In addition to the originally planned pipe screen, preventer-protected injection and drainage boreholes as well as a horizontal jet screen (DSV sealing screen) were also executed as advance auxiliary construction measures.
